C'mon, don't think you can pass the buck to me, you were the one who started the thread
We've been lots of times, it's a really good night out and very cheap. the pizza is lovely and fresh and you can watch both movies .
Depending on when you go you might want to take anti bite spray or a coil to put on your car roof to keep the insects away
Sorry it's taken me so long to get back to this important matter. I've been arguing with doctors over brains.
Now, gentlemen, Arkvilla not withstanding, clearly you do not understand the original intent of a drive in. It's a great American tradition, usually involving too many high school students and too much alcohol.
Now, if you insist on going to such a tawdry, and questionable place, you are responsible for keeping to the high road when all the car windows around you fog up.
IS THAT CLEAR, Gentlemen?
What if our windows are too fogged up to see the other cars?? :/
Well I don't know the traditions involved so I'm just trying to fit in
Then you'll need a couple of extra people in the trunk (boot to you over there)!
Tom ( ... how many people can you sneak into the drive in? )
OK, I know I'm going to sound really naive when I say this, but I had no idea drive-ins were even remotely seedy in real life!
Yes, I've seen the movies that depict couples... steaming up their windows, but I always thought that was a convenient plot device and not the reality.
...Of course, now that I know...
I can't help it! I'm a curious, intrepid type!
you are on her radar now
Yes, I think you're right, Wendy.
...And I was doing so well!
Stranded at the drive in...branded a fooool
Well then, y'all just need to come visit me. We have a lovely drive in that is very family friendly here
I`d leave the chip pan at the villa to stop the fogging of the windows Keith !
Been there done that....in the trunk of a VW beetle! Thank God it was a SuperBeetle! Now I was a lot smaller in high school. Come to think of it...involved a certain amount of alcohol! Eeks and there were a lot of fogged windows....what in the world was I thinking????
We often go to this one in Pennsylvania in the summer. It is touted as the oldest Drive In in America. Family movies, no fogged windows and a great play ground for the kids.
BTW....check out the prices at the Snack Bar!
Sounds like an invitation to me!
