It's fairly new, and fairly easy to find. It's not on WDW property though, so you'll need your own transport. It's on 27 almost to Clermont. It's in the same shopping area as JC Penney, World of Beer, and several other shops.
Burger Craft. Locally owned, by a woman :D :D :D who is making grass fed beef, and organic food her priority for her small restaurant. It's essentially counter service, in that you order at the counter, then choose a table. They bring you your HOT food.

That's the first thing I'm pleased with about this little place, the food is HOT when it is served. Blow on it too cool it off hot!

We both had the same burger, I think it was called the burginator? Burger with fried egg (over easy, medium, or fully cooked as you please) gruyere cheese, rosemary aioli, and a non-seed bun. (You can get a sesame seeded bun if you like, or a gluten free bun, or no bun, as you please). I had French fries, and herself had onion rings. Both were perfectly cooked, and as I've said, piping hot. The onion rings were sweet onions that didn't pull out from the batter coating when you bit into them. There is a small selection of single serve wines, and bottled beer, as well as fountain drinks. Oh, and they make some fabulous looking milkshakes, too.

I don't think they do much for desserts, but who could have dessert after a one of their burgers! They have something called the Farmer Burger that is HUGE.

I'll try to find a link...

No reason to go if you don't want a burger, but if you like burgers there is every reason to go! :D

I thought of you when we were there. It's clean, and has regular tables as well as picnic style tables. There are mounted TVs, but they are not obnoxious. It has a very modern vibe. Farm style photos on the walls (mounted as if they were painted on canvas).

It's rather like Yellow Dog in that it has an excellent food product, and is locally owned. The similarity stops there though. She's all about food, and only food. They don't purchase anything that is frozen, nor will they use frozen items. It's true farm to table, and that means fresh and delicious.

You can order a bucket of fries, or onion rings! Warning! They are HUGE!!! The regular portion with the burger was more than either of us could truly eat.

They serve the burgers in a paper lined wire basket and that is my only "complaint." I really like egg on my burger and that makes it difficult to eat without a proper plate. I know I could ask for it to be on a plate though, so I'm not overly fussed about it. :D

We weren't sure you and Chris would care for it Wendy. It's pretty rustic. Well, bare bones simple. It's a burger place and nothing more. Not that our dinners at Long Horn were gourmet by any means, but this is counter service by any other name. It's tasty counter service though! :D

Oh! I meant to point out that the man in the carhart coveralls at the bottom right of their homepage is Dale. He's the owner of the farm we go to! :D (Lake Meadow Naturals). It's turning out to be real fun, this healthy eating stuff! :D

Ooo, is Lake Meadow the place with the goaties Tink? :D

I know we are staying and eating onsite this time, but if we hire a car for a few days in the middle of our stay we will definitely go for a burger here. I love the whole ethos if it, and an amazing burger is hard to find.

I don't know what the name of the shopping area is, just that it's on 27 in the same immediate area at JC Penney's. If you get to 27 and 50 you've gone too far.
