So as you may or may not know we went to Disney at Christmas for 13 nights and then we returned in February for a week. Well we have now planned a trip to Sarasota-Siesta Key for the first week of April. The minivan is certainly getting some serious mileage the last 3-4 months. At this moment there are no plans for Disney but we do have annual passes and we will be driving by WDW on our way down and on our way back so I'm thinking we may have to take a day or two to say hello to Mickey.

:bounce: Yay! I seriously doubt the snow will have melted here by then!

BTW, how long is the drive for you BH?

Sounds like a terrific way to bring in Spring BH! I think I would have a tough time passing by WDW without stopping in for a bit (especially with APs)

1100 mile drive to Disney= 17-18 hour drive
Sarasota is another 2 hour drive... Maybe a little longer
I'm pretty sure we will hit MK and or EPCOT sometime before or after Sarasota.

Having the APs and being retired is a pretty good combo. I have to be honest though, I have no desire to go to any of the parks. Since 12/20 we have spent 20 days in the parks and on this next vacation I just want to sit on the beach and/or poolside and have a few cold ones.

I totally understand. Just enjoying the place and people watching is fun too. The resorts at Disney are well worth a visit to enjoy for themselves!
