Hi, I am Molly and I love everything Disney. I am a 23 year old Single Mom of an adorable 1 year old baby Girl named Emma. I works as an Occupational Therapist in a Nursing Home and pretty much enjoy what I am doing. I was also once a Gymnast and work with little kids on tumbling and other motor skills. I am also an owner of DVC which my parents got me when I turned 18 years old.

Hi Molly and welcome to Secrets.

I love the way Emma is laughing in your avatar, bless her, she looks a real sweetie :)

I'm so glad you decided to join us, we are a friendly helpful group of people who love to talk about Disney and well, just about anything really

Where is your DVC property, there are a few members here who are DVC owners and I still can't decide whether to join them or not, my husband isn't as keen as I am.

Do you have any trips planned to take your Princess to meet Mickey?

Look forward to getting to know you and seeing you around the site :wave2:

Hi Wendy and Thank You for the wonderful welcome. My Home resort for DVC is the BoardWalk. I have been there twice with friends and just totally love it. My parents gave me some of there points for my 18th Birthday. Probably the best gift I have every gotten in my entire life. I am planning a Thanksgiving trip with Emma to Vero Beach Resort this upcoming Thanksgiving. I hope to get her to WDW about the age of 3. She is 1 and a half right now.

I love the BoardWalk, I have a soft spot for all the Epcot Resorts :)

I've never been to Vero Beach but I know that Slowhand, one of the members here has been a few times.

I think taking Emma at 3 to WDW is a wonderful age to go, old enough to understand but not too old for that special first visit.

So you have a year and a half to plan, you are going to have so much fun with that and the way time seems to be going by, it will be here before you realise it

Yes, I love planning vacations. I know Emma is going to love WDW as much as I do. I remember going with my parents when I was little and how excited I'd get as the trip approached. Emma already loves Disney Movies and Music and watches Mickey Mouse Clubhouse on Disney Junior. I can't wait to relax at Vero Beach in November. It will be my first time there and of course Emma's first time.

Welcome, Molly!! We're so glad you've decided to join us :bounce: :bounce:

How fun it must be to be a DVC owner at such a young age, and at Boardwalk!! We have rented DVC points at Boardwalk for October, we'll be attending the Food & Wine Festival at EPCOT (our favorite event). We stayed at Beach Club last year and really loved the look of the Boardwalk - so we're pretty excited!

Emma is gorgeous! And looks like such a happy baby! Planning is going to be so much fun!

Emma is learning to love Disney from an early age, she will be a complete Disney addict by the time she goes to WDW.

I can't wait to hear what you think about Vero Beach :D

I hear that Vero Beach is so relaxing and has such a nice place to dine in the Resort. I just hope the Baby Pool is nice. Emma loves the water.

I love the going from Country to Country and getting there foods and drinks. I did that with my friend the one time we were there for the F & W festival and we were so stuffed and well also a bit Drunk by the time we made it around the world. :)

Hi there and a warm :secrets3:.
[Or should I say "Welcome Home" to a fellow DVC member ?] :)
We have been DVC members since the early days in 1992 and our home resort is OKW. It`s been one of our better decisions in life !

As has already been mentioned, my wife and I have been to Vero Beach a few times and it is a lovely relaxing resort away from the hussle and bustle of the parks. You will really enjoy your visit there I`m sure.

Molly, Boardwalk is about the best place in Disney if you ask me. I got to stay there about a month after it opened in the mid 90s. It was just fantastic. So beautiful, and centrally located. Prime spot! You have some really cool parents!

Hi Johnie and Slowhand. First Thank You for the welcomes.

@ Slowhand- That is what I was thinking. My baby will only be 2 years old at the time of the trip and I don't think both her and I are ready for the hussle and bussle of WDW yet. I think she will enjoy time at the pool and just relaxing and so will I. I do have a question for you. In November at Vero Beach is it warm enough to go swimming in the pool?

Yes they are great parents and also Disney Fanatics. I love the location of the Boardwalk as it is close to the back entrance of Epcot which is my favorite of all the parks.

Plus only a boat ride away from DHS, and you can (with a hopper pass) cut through Epcot to get the monorail to MK...just a perfect spot
