Wow - I misread that title and thought it meant that Star Wars 'land' was being built in 2014!

My heart skipped a beat... Sad git that I am!

It's supposed to be in the works - apparently (if the rumours are to be believed) Cars Land was originally due to come to Orlando, but this got shelved once Disney bought Lucasfilm. New plans are being drawn up for a Star Wars themed area instead.

I'm hoping for news nearer the release of the new movie.

Personally I would rather see Cars Land and I really think most kids would too. I really think Disney has gone off track with Avatar Land and Star Wars Land. I don't do Star Wars now and I can't envision myself doing either of the two new lands if I don't have grandchildren with me. The way things have been redone at DHS, except for a couple of things I've lost a great deal of interest in this park already.

No interest in avatar land, the film was disappointing enough! but the way they were talking about it on the tour we did, I started to see and understand how they're going to fit it into animal kingdom.

Star wars is a timeless classic :p The new films should energise another generation

I am a huge a Cars fans and a bigger Star Wars fan. Star Wars Land really excited me, but I still feel that Cars is underrepresented.

It's funny, I don't especially mind which new 'land' comes to WDW, as long as lots of people flock to see it.

Yes, I have a vested interest in lots of people travelling to Orlando ;) but my main reason is I want to see the continuation of this match between Universal and Disney - it can only be good for us theme park fans and I love the anticipation of the next big thing.

My personal view is I would love for Disney to introduce more attractions that would interest boys and perhaps have a couple of rolling attractions, which could rely on digital media more than physical animatronics. These attractions could be quickly re-themed for current/more recent movies, to represent something a little more contemporary.

I stress, I'm only saying these should be scattered around the parks, not that the existing attractions all be redone in this way - I like the richness of the historical side of Disney.
