I don't drink the stuff but, DH often yearns for a lovely hot cuppa while in the parks and we find it so hard to track one down.

Can anyone give me some places in the parks (Disney/Universal/SW) that we can get just a cuppa from? Hot tea with milk.

    ME TOO!!!!!!!

Most of the disney restaurants/buffets are fine. They'll do a hot tea when asked and bring a selection of tea bags. Sometimes english breakfast is there, other times its just normal liptons. If neither are present and he wants a "uk" style cuppa, orange pekoe works out just fine, surprisingly.

Unfortunately outside disney, or even non-disney restaurants at downtown disney etc., it's variable. Often all they'll have is some kind of herbal thing.

the other thing is to make SURE you say "with Milk" whilst looking the server in the eye with a stare that says "bring cream and you WILL be in trouble" Nothing worse than tea with cream

I've only seen proper tea at the afternoon tea at the Grand Floridian. And I found that I like my tea with milk too

A decent cup of tea is nearly impossible. I can't say as though I even know of any stands, although you could take a try at the UK pavilion.

My Grandfather taught me to drink tea with milk. Must admit though, I'll drop a dash of cream in it if I have it. Heeeeheee.

    I don't like Liptons or Bigelows though, so almost never order out. :sigh;

I found an slightly expensive way to get one - ask for hot tea at a counterservice/stand, then also buy a kiddies carton of milk. Presto, tea. :)

Oh that would be great! I love it in Ireland. Your very own pot of tea, milk, and their wonderful brown (demerara?) sugar. I even liked the little spoons! :D

You can get mugs of PG tips at the Winsor Rose. Bit of a ride though for a decent cup of tea! (Mt. Dora).

Or how about an old fashioned tea trolley outside the Rose and Crown with a big tea urn and a selection of biscuits.

Disney need my talents they really do.

We make good tea, dont we? :p015: Egon Ronay says we do too and he should know. That is because we leave it on the heat to 'draw'.
There is a very good stand in Animal Kingdom - the Royal Anandapur Tea Company which is supposed to sell good tea. We had two of their fruit freezes which were delicious and the tea seemed quite popular.

Agreed. Now my Mom and I like going to the Grand Floridian and having Tea there...we like the Sally lund(sp?) tea....the fresh straberries with it is just fantastic.

as for just a cup alone...hmmm... we wound up getting some twinings and a carton of milk and fixing it in the room.

Dd loves her tea. Its all she will drink :rolleyes008:. I am afraid we have given in and taken our own just for her. We just ask for a mug hot water and buy some milk from them.
In the past she has had every flavour under the sun much to her disgrace. They have been very good about it.
