Any hints to make sure we can ride in the front? is there a best stop to try and get on at and who do we need to ask?

I'm not sure there is any best stop to try. You merely need to ask the CM at the monorail ride. Bear in mind that you may have to wait until it is available however.

Yep, all you have to do is ask! :D

Also keep in mind, only four people at a time may ride up front and there are no strollers allowed :D

Some times are easier than others but you just never really know because a family up there can ride it all the way thru the loop, if I'm not mistaken. We've done it 3 or 4 times in our visits so it is possible. Just keep trying.

A good time to try is around 4pm when it's not so busy. We went on the one going into Epcot.

We were lucky as we asked a couple of times & both times we were allowed! It is great - one of the drivers was really talkative & fun, the other did not seem to want to make conversation with us:(
