ive heard we can order a birthday cake to be delivered after the meal but how do we do it? Is there a phone number or is it done by contacting the restaurant directly?

I would ring the restaurant before you go and tell them that you are celebrating a birthday and they will sort everything out for you.

In a few of the restaurants I have been to the waiters and waitresses have even sung happy birthday to the celebrating guest. :p015:

There are quite a few options. Where do you want the cake delivered to?

This is a cake I ordered in advance from the Polynesian. It feeds 16 and was about $40

What kind of cake was that Johnie, do you know? Can you order something specific? Say, chocolate with raspberry filling and whipped cream icing, or is it a matter of "here are the choices, pick one?"

They give you a ton of choices with the big cakes. I'll see if I can dig up the info.

That is chocolate icing, it's vaniila cake inside with a strawberry layer.

Wow! Thanks Johnie!!! That's some good info!

The prices are not nearly as crazy as I thought they would be. I am disappointed to find out that the Cinderella slipper dessert can't be ordered at any resort (full service) restaurant. :sigh; I had an idea there... :D

I thought the slipper could be delivered to any GF restaurant? I had one delivered to the afternoon tea for Alysia's birthday ages ago.

I phoned the Cake Hotline number but no answer yet. I'll try again at 9:00 am. I did learn from the voice menu though that the 6" cake now costs $21.00.

Do you think it would be too wierd to have a cake ordered for breakfast?

Absolutely NOT. But then again I did have prosciutto and cheese for breakfast this morning, so my authority may be a bit lacking on acceptable breakfast foods

I went with it. A ten inch is now $45.00. Not a huge bunch of choices, but I think it will be ok in the long run.

They do a really good job with the cakes.

When we went to Disney for Alysia's 5th birthday, we had cake for breakfast! She loved it!
