I think the drive there would be much more exciting, then the one coming home. But it really does seem like a better plan. Of course, once I'm there, Disney is doing ALL the driving. :D

Got some decent memories of the place Tom. Growing up the only Mexican I had ever eaten was Tacos. At 2AM one morning I got a knock on my door wanting to know if I'd like to go and get the real stuff. Had never met a Jalapeno pepper before that night, and then I tried to wash it down with water. :tongue1:

I didn't even fly for the first time until I was 20 years old. I love driving and the open road. I'm trying to get my DW to take a road trip up to the Smoky Mountains.

    Do it! Do it.

And take your time over the parkway from Cherokee to Gatlinburg! She'll love it. Beautiful mountain scenery!

I think it is Wendy.

Here's a brief peek at what you might see if you went in the winter.

Tom, it's beautiful, Chris would be in his element taking photos. The hills are so blue, does it really look like that or has the video been "played with"

We've been to Yosemite and he loved it there. If only we could have 2 holidays, it would be so easy to see all the places we want to :sigh:

Nope. Not played with at all. That's how the Smokey Mountains got their name. There's a blue haze that pretty much hangs over them almost constantly. And you're right, Chris would have a wonderful time with his camera up there.

    Tom :)macwave:... beautiful place!)

We're hoping to do that in a couple of years time. What started off as a trip to San Fran, Chicago and Boston as ended up some how as a road trip from seattle, to San Fran, along route 66 to Chicago, then across to Boston via niagra falls :drivecar: . Will possibly need to reduce that down though
