    Hi

all the times we've been we've just dotted around epcot not really having any plan and we hardly touch each of the countries really. What do you all do ?

Is it possible time wise to go and explore each country? Do they all have sample snacks and drinks or a show ?

I just think we're not getting the most out of it really

We get FP's for Soarin' then head to the countries. We get a times guide for the entertainment and I circle the ones we want to watch and take it from there.

World Showcase is our favourite area and we can spend hours, walking round, sitting and relaxing, watching the entertainment.

There aren't any samples of food or drink officially, although sometimes you do get offered a taste of something. It's not a dead cert though.

We walk clockwise around the lake and always try and end up at the Patisserie in France about lunch time where we buy a quiche and a strawberry tart. and if you are lucky there are tables inside with air conditioning.

If you want to go to Futureworld then I would suggest getting there when the Park opens, that way you can explore the area.

Unfortunately, the FastPass machines are being removed from all the Parks as Disney have bought in FastPass+, this means if you are staying on site you can reserve a time 60 days in advance before you even go to the Park. If you are staying off site, there will be some FastPass+ machines at the entrance and various other locations for you to reserve a time when you get to the Park.

Sadly, gone are the days of rushing to get a FastPass and then going somewhere else and coming back later in the day.

We tend to do future world in the Mornings then return to the world showcase in the evening. We usually start at the Mexico side of the WS

Wendy, I remember rushing in to make dinner reservations at Inoventions on the super futuristic closed circuit televisions..hehe

    Things change don't they?

We used to rush in to get our FP for Soarin and as soon as possible get one for TT. Then off to the then coffee shop near the fountain. Again...that has changed.
We would then hit Living Seas..now that could be a FP problem.

Guess I would have to try to try the FP+ to get a read on the new reality of the park.

Oh, by the by we also go clockwise around the WS. Think we originally did that to avoid the turn right mentality of the crowds.

It depends on which way we enter the park. Actually I can't say that we ever have a plan unless there is an ADR involved. We just wander

Depends upon the time of day, and where we want to go first, and where we have entered. Most often we come down through Future World and hang a right heading into the UK. We do take our time and poke and wander through each country. There are small portions of food to purchase in most every country, so you can do your own tasting if you like. The UK has candies and other little bits for sale in the shops. Same for Canada, and Japan (where there is a TON of small bits on offer!). We have our favorite shows to watch, acts, or films, and those we avoid like the plague. Herself cannot bear to watch the child acrobats in China for instance, but we do love the film there. That's another country where there is a wide selection of merchandise on offer, and a good selection of "small bites" you could try.

EPCOT is our favorite park for sure. We are not so very much into Future World, although if the line is short we always do Spaceship Earth. :D Not a huge fan of Soarin', or the other "big" attractions there. Once you've done them, you've done them so to speak... Nemo is cute, and we like wandering around looking at the reef... but that's about it for FW for us. :D
