We are hoping to go here for our 25th Wedding Anniversary and I wondered how long we would need in each park. I was thinking 3/4 days for both. This isn't a Disney Holiday per say but if I'm going to LA i'm not going to miss it am I?

When we went we did a day in each. There is a lot more there now with Cars Land so I would say 3 days would be enough.

Their DTD is amazing and much better than the one at WDW.

What's nice about it is, when you get to the Park, Disneyland is on one side and California Adventure is on the other side. It means you can walk to both very easily and could even do both Parks in one day if you wanted to as there is no traveling.

Three days should be fine for both without rushing around, but plan your evenings well.

Make sure you get to ride Radiator Springs Racers in Cars Land, DCA after dark (it makes more sense and looks soooo much better at night). Also, be certain to plan at least one night where you get a good view of World of Colour - it's spine-tinglingly good and not to be missed.

When we were there in 2005 Cars Land was not open. We were there over Memorial Day Weekend and the crowds were quite heavy but we still managed to do everything we wanted to do over that weekend.

We went in 2008. We were in California for a week but only spent 3 days at Disneyland/CA. I'd love to go back.
