We used to go, stay onsite, and spend each and every day in the park. However, the operative words there are "used to".

In 2003 we "discovered" Disney Cruise Lines. Since then, our vacation of choice has been DCL rather than a week at the parks. We still enjoy the parks when we go. But we don't go anywhere as often as we used to. In fact, I think the last time we actually stayed onsite was 2009.

The cruises provide us our necessary Disney fix in a much more relaxed atmosphere. :tan:

Tom ( :macwave:... now, let's see. Where did I leave my deck chair? :sail:)

I'm getting there, very slowly  I will wear him down at some point :D

I was going to try this year and say I really wanted to do a few days for a late birthday present as I am 50 this year. Unfortunately we aren't able to go this year so that plan has gone out of the window.

We generally tend to hit a park for at least some portion of the day. This last trip, in December, however, we took several days off to just check out resorts and do some shopping.

Wow, that always amazes me! I think I would be over the moon with even 7 days there! Most we ever do is a 5 day hopper. It always amazes me the difference in vacations between the UK and the US.

So the answer for us is...everyday. Have to make the most of it.

Since we go every three years, we have to make the most of it as it takes a lot of money to pay for a Florida holiday. We go to Universal once and IoA twice. We also visit Seaworld twice and Busch once. We have two days for shopping and then the rest of the time is spent in Disney parks and water parks. It really isn't too difficult. Honestly. :)

The last time I went to WDW was in 2010 with a friend and I went into the parks all 7 days of my vacation.

If we are staying onsite (like we will be in December) for a seven night stay, we will probably get a 5 or 6 day length of stay pass. We like to have 1 or 2 days away from the parks to do other things or relax a bit.
