Without sounding like a stuck record  it's our silver anniversary and I am trying to think of how can we make our trip more special this year.

We will be there for 4 weeks, but our Disney APs expire 4 days before the end of our holiday :( I'm toying with the idea of buying some passes for the last few days but I'm not sure as it's quite expensive.

The only other thing I could do is go to MNSSHP on the 24th September as we will be able to get into the Magic Kingdom after 4pm. The other thing is that I am expecting the F & W F to have a trial on the 26th September before the official opening of the 27th. I would really like to go but Chris isn't sure if it is worth the $90 each.

I couldn't convince Chris to go to V & A so that is sadly out :sigh:

Any suggestions on what to do in or out of the parks :)

Have you been to St Augustine? If not, that is a beautiful place for a day out.

Have you done the carriage rides at the POR? I think that is one of our favorite memories from our anniversary

What about one the boat rentals for either Wishes or IllumiNations?

No we haven't, how long does it take to drive there, I've heard before that it is really nice there.

Shelly, I have never been to POR at all  Do you have to make a reservation for the carriage ride or can you just turn up and get one

St. Augustine is about 2 hours from Orlando. I'm one of he few who really don't see what all the fuss is about. :sorry:

I think a Wishes cruise or Illuminations cruise might be nice. I know you've done the Grand though, so it might not be as special as that! The panhandle area is very nice. Ft. Walton Beach is beautiful. It's quite a long ride though. You'd really have to stay over at least one night.

We made a reservation  I believe at the time it was only around $30. It was beautiful with little while lights everywhere and you are allowed to bring drinks, so I had plastic fancy glasses (that we tossed after) and I picked up some chilled adult beverages from the resort store. We really enjoyed it :D

I believe you would be able to manage with sticks, but you won't be needing them, remember? ;) The step is low and the entry into the carriage is fairly wide, so I really don't see it being a problem.

I know we called the regular 407-play number to make a reservation, but I'm not sure if the numbers have changed since. It was a credit card hold, but we paid in cash when we got there
