look up how to put the sim card in - it took me ages and i needed google
DH has one and loves it. I have just bought an Ipod touch and thats complex enough for me . I wish he would hurry home from work to sort it for me.
Take a pin with you to open the sim slot!!!! It's at the top next to the headphone slot!!!
Dont spend 1/2 an hour looking around the edge for something to pry apart like I did
LOL, you would think that apple would provide a sim slot opener!!!!
i think i'll just look and stroke on the way back and sort it when i get back
Indeed or at least some instructions on how to open the sim holder mine was missing
There's an aftermarket kit for that!
Tom macwave:... what??? you don't believe me? Outrageous!)
I'm sure Jules is now either a) crying because she can't open the SIM, or B) crying with joy at being re-united with her iPhone!!!
P.S - typed from my iPhone!!!
Don't want to derail Josh ,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,, BUT have you got yours yet Julie.
and i got it - not opened the box yet- want to savour the moment
Just don't go the whole-geeky-hog and post a video of you opening it on youtube. Some people actually do that
sim in and now charging- thank goodness you told me i'd still be here next week!
How have you resisted touching it?! Luckily mine has a grease-proof/scratch-proof sticker on it- if it didn't I think it'd already be full of sticky marks!
should it say that it will only do 999 calls until it's charged?
you need to activate it... Plug it into your computer and open iTunes. It 'links up' with your iTunes account. Then you should get to phone your friends (unless they all work in the police station and then you needn't bother activating it)
How about one of these
Welcome to the club.
I love my Iphone.
They do! It's folded into the instruction manual!
Most people haven't found it because... you know... instructions are there to be ignored!!
Josh, can you just keep upgrading the software on your phone? I never had the old iPhone, so don't know the difference between the two
I'm not Josh but the answer is yes.
At least so far.
I've got the old, original iPhone and all the software updates have been fine. I'm sure there's GPS type functionality that I'm losing but everything else is fine.
Tom macwave:... still loves his antiquated, old, original iPhone)
