I would like to get a new mountain bike and I really like the one pictured  but my mates have laughed and said they won't be seen out with me on a bike that colour.

    What do you think???

I love it! What's wrong with the color? Your mates are a bit daffy if they think that color makes the bike or the biker! ;) :hug2:

I say get it and ride with pride! :D :D

    Very nice bike.
What sort of riding will you be doing? is it just basic pavement riding or will you be doing rough of road stuff?
Just a thing to think of when getting a bike.

This will be my 2nd mountain bike, I already have a hard tail (Front suspension only) and we are planning a ride in the Pennines next year which will be far better suited to a full suspension bike. Also considering the South Downs Way (In 1 day) next June, after experiencing riding it in 2 days earlier this year full suspension would definately have been an advantage.

It's a great looking bike! It's certainly very different from the Pashley I'm hoping to get at Christmas.

If it were lavender or pink with ribbons hanging from the handlebars, I'd see what they're teasing about but what's wrong with yellow?

Isn't yellow the leader's color in the Tour de France? Tell your friends it's the color of champions, and they won't have to see it much since you'll be far ahead of them. :taunt:
It looks like a great bike to me!

I really like it! And heck, at least yellow can be seen. You wont be lost and no vehicles will hit you.
