Gaylord Palms’ ICE! attraction and its new addition, SNOW!, open Saturday and the resort is offering a pretty cool deal for local theme-park passholders.

On select days, annual and seasonal passholders can choose one of these deals:

** 50 percent off an adult admission to ICE!

** complimentary admission to ICE! for a child with the purchase of an adult admission

These tickets must be purchased at the box office — not online — and guests must show valid theme-park passes. Adult tickets for ICE! cost $21.99 on weekdays and $25.99 for Fridays, Saturdays and Sundays. Kids pay $9.99 for ICE! during the week and $11.99 on Fridays, Saturdays and Sundays. Admission to SNOW! is an add-on for all types of tickets and costs $7.49 on weekdays and $9.99 on weekends.

The local passholder discount — which includes Disney World passes — is valid Nov. 20-25, Nov. 28-Dec. 3, Dec 6-10 and Jan. 2.

This year’s ICE! is themed to the classic story of ‘Twas the Night Before Christmas. For those who have never been, ICE! is a beautiful and colorful display of hand-carved figures and scenes that guests walk through. The attraction culminates in popular ice slides, which kids and adults alike enjoy. It is 9 degrees inside the attraction, so guests are provided with heavy coats. Bring your own gloves!
