Not sure what you mean by leaflets Jeff. If you mean flyer's, here's an example of what it can do. This is actually the iPad Pages template for a Flyer. All I did was email it to myself in PDF format but then I had to take a picture of it because it was too big to upload as a PDF.

Is this what you had in mind?

Tom :)macwave:... it's really pretty powerful!)

I was thinking more of a flyer that you can fold into slim line flyer with information inside rather than one sheet...

    That flyer looks fab!

The templates for pages on the mac are absolutely fantastic and look totally proffesional  I'm looking at the mac version and there are a few 'foldable' type leaflets. Obviously not sure if this applies to the iPad version

The more and more you talk about them the more and more I want one!

I assume you'd have to e-mail them to yourself or add them through syncing with your macbook

Yep! Josh is right. Just treat them as a picture and either mail them to yourself or sync with your Mac.

Tom :)macwave:... need to see if I can put Mac Pages templates on the iPad.)

I'm becoming tempted to put my iMac on eBay  I don't want to part with it because it was my first mac, but it is becoming outdated slightly and I hardly ever use it because I now have my macbook

I hate things being wasted and I think I'd get better use out of an iPad

The rule with decisions like this is generally to go for it quickly. Every day you wait, it loses more value so if you're really not using it then yeah!

This is going to sound like a bit of a silly thing to say, but the only reason I didn't want to put it on eBay is because I bought it with the money that my Grandad left me when he died :sigh:

It seems silly because it's a computer, but it sort of holds sentimental values too

I know technically I'd still have bought the iPad with the money I got from my Grandad, though :sigh:

It's a hard one but I'll think it over. I usually put stuff on eBay on Friday and Saturday as I assume most people are on it then

Of course it holds sentimental value! It represents something from your dear Grandfather. However, if you did sell it and used the money to replace it with an upgrade (like the iPad) that would be from him too. It would be like his gift to you allowing you to move to the next sophisticated generation of equipment. It is still from him, because had he not provided you the means to buy the first iMac, then you'd not have the means to have the iPad.

Actually, I think it could be viewed as a fitting tribute to your Grandfather (in the sense of a continuum). :hug2:

I bought a hifi with the money my grandad left me and I kept it for years even though you could no longer get stylus' for it ( google if you are young ) and one of the tape decks stopped working as I copied about a thousand albums ( and they worry about the intenet  ) but I had to let it go eventually

Now if I get any money like that we buy something a bit more timeless , like a painting or an ornament or go on a day out somewhere we wouldn't do normally.

Josh mate you can't keep the iMac forever, the worst thng to do would be for it to reside in your loft for the rest of your life - let someone be anointed to the world of mac whilst you take the essence of your grandfathers gift and pass it on to the next generation

continuing to get pleasure and excitement from his gift to you would, I'm sure, make him very happy

If I had that money now I'd have bought something timeless like you say, or something I would keep forever  But, the iMac is getting old (Only in terms of the newer technology being updated, it runs as well as it did the day I got it!)

    It's this one;

I've updated the RAM to 4gb I think (I'll have to double check) and it's got a 500gb HDD.

Anyone got any idea of a good price for it?

Yeh I've got my macbook. That's the reason I no longer use the iMac, because I use the macbook so much
