Me too, I guess what we all doing on Friday evening.......
sending messages via ipad
Do you know something. Just between us 'k, no telling anyone.
Adrian says we do not need to pre-order one.
I'm actually completely not sure whether I agree with him.
Tries to do this but does not allow me to add anything extra
Will go to the store next day and buy them me think....
Noticed on the delivery option 'fast ship' (EMEA) whatever that means!
I hope if the camera connector and case isn't ready for the 28th then theiPad will still be delivered - although 90% of what I want it for involves using the connector
*does bestest Gordon Brown impression*
' gggggcht I agree with Dawn on this '
you could put films and stuff on it and apps to keep the boy happy in August - you itouch is too small for that - and and and you could type your trip report as it happens
now THERE is a thought
MMMhh what do you think of 02 tariffs?
O2 | Tariffs for the Apple iPad
I am now starting to wonder if I should have the 3G ipad......
nah mate the tariffs look far too pricey to me for the amount of time you'd use it
mmmhh but what attracts me the most is the pay to go option......
£2 a day seems steep to me - I expect that if theyare monitoring its use then at some point during most days you might get wifi drop out and the 3g would kick in - if that happened on 20 days a month it would cost £40
I am dissapointed there wasn't an option to tie in if you have an o2 iphone contract - if it was me I would have said to people - free iphone 3g if you extend your iphone monthly payment plan - then I might have thought about it
iPad 3G Test Notes - iPad 3G - Gizmodo
Very valid point, I would have thought you go onto the 3G and 'buy' some airtime.....but didnt think they would automatic charge us... mmmhh
Maybe there is an option where you tell the ipad not to connect 3g if you dropped out of wifi?
I expect so still if I haven't got it thats one less thig to worry about
I wonder what the dock is like that it comes with I assume I can plug it into the plug I got with the iphone
is there a dock that comes with it?
Dawn-i'm being really thick - what do you mean?
It doesn't come with a dock.
Just a cable with the 30 pin plug on one end and a USB connector on the other. It appears to be the same cable as for the iPhone. At least they're interchangeable.
Tom macwave:... sits back and watches the frenzy)
I dont think so
In the box
* Dock Connector to USB Cable
* 10W USB Power Adapter
So ipad, cable from the connector on the bottom (which they call the dock connector) to USB for charging/connecting to the computer AND connecting to the power adapter, Power adapter itself, documentation (which as tom says is like a single sheet of paper or something)
I am going to sound really thick now
What would you use dock for?
You'd leave it connected to a computer so it makes it nice and easy to come back to your desk, dump your ipad on the dock and you'd immediately have syncing, audio etc without having to connect/reconnect/disconnect cables all the time
oooohh I can see it! Although macbook pro is my main computer not the imac so dock would not be suitable for me at the moment.
