I heard that the Disney Cruise ships are going to all be based in America from 2012.

Don't know about permanently. I do know there's no scheduled European cruises for 2012. Beyond 2012, it's less clear. This is the way it breaks out currently as far as I know:
    • Disney Wonder - based out of Los Angeles through end of 2012. Alaska, Hawaii, and Mexican Riviera cruises.
    • Disney Dream - 4 and 5 day cruises to the Bahamas out of Port Canaveral
    • Disney Fantasy - 5 to 7 day Caribbean cruise out of Port Canaveral.
    • Disney Magic - European cruises through September of this year. Then various US ports through the end of 2012.

After 2012 however, who knows. Disney won't be sharing that information for quite a while.

If they even know yet.
