Universal Orlando annual passholders have been invited to an after-hours event at the Wizarding World of Harry Potter that’s tied to the release of the new Harry Potter film, “Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows: Part 1.” The gathering will be Nov. 20 at the attraction at Universal’s Islands of Adventure. Note that the event does not include a screening of the film, which debuts on Nov. 19. Aside from access to Wizarding World’s three rides and Hogsmeade village (including the Three Broomsticks restaurant and Hog’s Head pub), visitors will receive a free commemorative poster of Wizarding World. A Gryffindor lanyard with an exclusive annual passholder pin will be on sale for $10.95. Space is limited, and passholders must register at The Wizarding World of Harry Potter™ only at Universal Orlando ® Resort in order to attend. It’s first come, first serve. Guests must bring the confirmation notice from the site and their annual pass to enter. The event hours are 8 p.m. – 10 p.m., but check-in will start at 6 p.m. Note: The deal is restricted to Premier and Preferred passes. Power passholders — the version with black-out dates — and guests will not be admitted, Universal says.
