Ah, ok. That seems less invasive and aggravating then the sort that guesses what you are saying and inserts it into the conversation. AUUUUGH!!!! Talk about auto correct!

I no longer get "first day of school" photos; instead, I get "first day of iPhone 6 release" photos :)

Clearly he's thrilled to be going to work at 0-dark thirty this morning...

They've all been given permission to wear sneakers today, and issued "official" Verizon track pants.

They've also made pie - to keep their sugar high going throughout the day - anyone wanna guess what kind?

They do those very old brick blackberries don't they... no colours or frills, just sort of browny black coloured. I'm sure Jeff would LOVE it!

isn't it weird how stuff changes though?

Just a few years ago, Blackberry came into work to convince us to support their phones. They brought with them a bunch of new "consumer" phones with changeable covers and said everyone would be swapping coloured covers and bling + the killer feature, blackberry messenger.

Few months later I was on a disney bus and I looked round, EVERY teenager seemed to be using one of the blackberries with one of the covers. I thought WOW well done mr blackberry marketing person, sorry for ever doubting you!

    then... well... oh dear!

Agreed...I was thinking about the other day when I saw a commercial for...something...and it said, "The next big thing is here" and I thought, by the time this commercial launched, some other "big thing" had already taken its place.

I've been an apple fan forever but when they announced the iphone, I couldn't believe it. At the time I had a beautiful tiny tiny nokia. Expensive, looked amazing, everyone who saw it wowed.

I saw the HUGE iphone and thought WHOA completely the wrong direction :/ I happened to be at the trafford centre on release day and thought ok let's go look. It just about did email/web but it felt slow and heavy and huge. Nevertheless, I bought one "for the company" and thought I can test it with our services then forget about it.

Of course, once I started playing with it I was completely hooked and although we get just about every phone, android, windows, apple etc in work, every time I try one of the others, I just always miss the iphone. Even when there's some brilliant new feature on one of the other phones I just end up getting annoyed with how they work.

I must admit, I've learnt to be chilled about a lot of "the small things"... or I'm at least trying  but I keep my tech absolutely perfect. That video just made me gasp in horror.

I was with a guy from work yesterday when he dropped his new ipad on the carpark and we watched it skid glass first across the concrete until it hit a wall. He picked it up, brushed it down and the screen did really well but there were some little scratches on the case. He was overjoyed.. I just kept on thinking that would be it for me, I couldn't put up with those scratches.

The people on line here are insane! LOL.

I have never liked Blackberry. My sister still uses one! :mental: DRIVE ME CRAZY!!! The stupid thing never works right, and her texts are like decoding the rosetta stone. Sheesh.

iPhone 6 or the Note? iPhone 6 or the Note.

I wonder what our Mick would say? :D :D :D

(I remember the sweet little Nokias. I had one and loved it).
