Caitlin finishes school early next year - 24/25th June approx due to doing GCSEs. Am i completely bonkers to be thinking of going then? I'm guessing there\s no free dining then?

There probably won't be any free dining, it will be very busy because of the 4th July and when we went that time of the year it seemed to rain constantly.

Not really selling it am I

kind of what i thought! if there was no free dining we would definitely stay in a villa. I can't afford 4 adults meals at Disney everyday. I wonder if a week at WDW and a week somewhere else would be the answer. Maybe somewhere down the west coast of Florida - a bit of sun, sea and sand, coconut shrimp at sharkeys on the pier mmmmmm. Might have to look at crowd calendars

Haven't been during July, but have gone just after that in August. We don't it mind it, really! Late August saw free dining this past year, but I'm guessing that's not an option for you?

it is, but the cost of flights is more expensive then... versus i guess the cost of accommodation. mmmm just thinking at the moment and it's not been passed through his lordship yet...

Not crazy at all! I've just planned a trip to Phoenix to see the Motley Crüe final tour, the Grand Canyon and a quick popover to Disneyland. Lol I'm crazy!

If you look for the last week in August, the flights start to drop in price again, so it might be worth looking at.

I like going the beginning of September, it used to be very quiet, but it's not like that now :sigh: still not as bad as October though.

yeah trouble is we have to be back in the first week of September. Wouldn't go for anything less than 2 weeks. After doing some research i'm thinking it's probably a no go unless we can get some kind of late deal. Adding it all up just going to Disney and staying in a villa for 4 adults is £6200 without any food or spending money.

It's expensive I know, what about a twin stay like you said, does that come out any cheaper?

well i've done some searching and say i was booking for this year i can knock £1000 off the price by booking a holiday with BA- villa added is same price as flights! and comes with free 14 day universal tickets. That's looking more affordable

    It's sounding good :)

What about flying into Sanford Airport, that's usually cheaper.

i did some quotes with airlines that do that and tbh once you've added on luggage etc it doesn't work out much cheaper :( it's just so expensive. Thinking of selling a kidney ;)

i think i'm going to keep squirrelling away and see what happens. There doesn't seem to be much difference in price between end of June and August at the moment and I'd prefer to do August if i'm honest
