Has anyone been to LA HACENDA at epcot yet
Ive not even heard of it but it sounds fun
what is it robert?
IT is the new resturant opposite the san angel at mexico at world show case epcot
We didn't dine there, but we went in and had a nosey around. It's really nice inside! There are many windows that face the lagoon (the entire outer wall of the restaurant is all windows).
The decor is quite upscale with artistic lighting and nice looking tables and chairs. The CMs are all eager to have you visit and eat, so be prepared to be a bit overwhelmed by their eagerness (at least right now in the beginning). The menu looked ok, pricey... but it is WDW after all.
Looking forward to hearing a review... maybe it will be from us!
The entrees start at $20 and everything looked delicious. I'm sure I'll eat there one of these days but, not with the FAWF going on!
I have it on my list for next year, the sharing plates most appealed to me. Oh and the ritas! Do you reckon it would be a good place to view the illuminations?
Yes, Brit it will be a great place to view the show. You'd want a window side seat of course, but the way it's set up, nearly all tables should have a good view.
What time do you reckon I should book for to finish just as the show starts?
Well, the show starts at 9:00 pm, so I'd book for at least 8:00 pm... We are leisurely diners, so an hour would be minimum...
Just printed off the menue for LA HACIENDA not alarge amount of choices
The menu is not extensive but usually, if the menu is short, the food is done well.
Here is the link to the pic of what I had when I dined at La Hacienda last month:
It really was delicious and the restaurant is worth giving a whirl. I will definitely eat there again.
