We found out today that if you buy a limited edition Halloween magic band and then use it for park entry and FP entry, instead of the normal green light you get this:

Everyone we've used it so far, cast members have gone 'Oh my god that's so cool' . We wonder if the Halloween limited edition magic bands haven't been popular. The haunted mansion ones are already sold out completely.

We saw some haunted mansion ones in story book circus yesterday. There were only about 5 or 6 left.

Should have gotten one when I had the chance.

So clue me in.....you get standard ones when you book, then what, do you then purchase special ones in shops?

Oh well, not so bad I guess. So can you use the band on subsequent trips or is it a one time activiation?

Cool, and the new data can be loaded onto this one (for a new trip that is?). I should think it can because you all mentioned that both the bands were sort of active at the same time right? So does a CM sort of just link the two devices in the shops?

I imagine you can load as much information onto it as necessary. They would just reload new reservations onto the band. But surely you want a new band for a new holiday? :)

ah yes, but if you had a few different ones active you could sort of accessorize as to the parks, Haunted House for MK, etc...oh are they waterproof, just wondering with the water parks and all.

BTW...if I am asking too many questions....I apologize

Cool! That was smart planning. Can't wait to try them on the next visit.

I personally wasn't sure if the magic band will work. It does and it is most useful thing ever.
