Waiting for Nemo to start. Drizzled all morning. The cast members kept saying the a animals love the rain.....like heck!
Dry since lunchtime though and we have been on three safaris :)
Going to Big Italy for dinner tonight which is one of our favourites.

I don't think we've been to the Animal Kingdom in 7 or 8 years! I wonder what, if anything, is new there?

I'll have to start a thread about Animal Kingdom for May I think! I know there are safaris and things there now which I've not seen!

The menu looks ok, I wonder how it compares with Nine dragons in EPCOT

i haven't ever been to the nine dragons as I had seen bad reviews and there is always so much choice at Epcot. I like the mango iced tea from the kiosk outside though

Nine dragons is "ok". It used to be great, then it went awful, then it went really good and now it's settled at good  The menu is unadventurous but consistent

I'm not impressed with the entrees at Yak and Yeti. Very overpriced and you can get some of the same things much cheaper at the counter service place. Their apps and desserts were good. Hmm now that I think about it, the TS place is very similar to P F Changs

Yak and yeti is a gazillion times better than Nine Dragons. I prefer their counter service though. I found the honey chicken to be a tad sweet but the sweet and sour was delicious! I love how it comes in boxes too

The seating is outdoors, but there are some lovely shady spots. Reasonable prices too.

I can't not go to Animal Kingdom. I'd quite happily stare at hippo water for hours in the hope that a hippo will swim past. :D

Have you thought of doing the wild Africa trek Dawn? When I did it we spent ages with the hippos.

The Wild Africa Trek is on our bucket list but it is so expensive.

As for Yak & Yeti, Donna and I much prefer the TS as we don't generally eat sweet items. The beef Lo Mein is OK but the TS menu gives us MUCH more choice.

i don't have the honey chicken anymore i have the miso salmon which is quite light and tasty, it feels like it's quite healthy- probably isn't but oh well. I suggested it for Keith as it was probably the most like chinese and I have seen it recommended by quite a few people. I quite like to sit in the cool at lunchtime on an AK day- that park always seems the hottest and Yak and Yeti seems to be the place for us :)

Yes, it is I must admit. I guess it didn't seem to expensive for us as it was just me who did it, not the whole family. If you book at certain times of the day it is cheaper. The photo package you get with it is brilliant!
