I am bad with heights, to the point I end up frozen to the stop and cry like a baby but I found this fine.

Yes they are, can still get a little warm with about 25 people in a pod but it was a very hot day yesterday and we were fine,

What a lovely family you have Lozzy! Thank you for sharing the photos with us. I'd like to see and do the London Eye one day. :)

A former co-worker did it with her family and they really liked it but didn't really know what they were looking at. They felt that some sort of narration would have helped.

That is very true Tink, We could pick out the things and building that we knew but to anyone from outside the UK and maybe some people who a live in the UK but don't know mush about London would find they really don't know what they are looking at,
