We will be there when MNSSHP is on but is it worth the extra money?

It's definitely worth the extra money. We go every year and I wouldn't miss it.

The parade is brilliant, the fireworks are the best at the Magic Kingdom as far as I am concerned. There is trick or treating, where you can collect lots and I mean lots of candy.

Dressing up is optional, but some people take it really seriously and have some great costumes. The Haunted Mansion brilliant and there are some great photo opportunities.

We never went on holiday last year and I can't wait to go back again this year :mental:

Absolutely it's worth the money. Just for the fireworks alone!
We always go in Sept so that it coincides with MNSSH.
We also did the Soirée last year where we could meet the villains in the Castle and have nice food. It's an additional price and I'm not sure if it's running again the year.
If you've never been to the Halloween party don't do the soirée as you'll miss the opportunity to see everything in the park. If you've been before then the soirée is a nice optional extra and quite fun.
