It is 40 years this month since Neil Armstrong and Buzz Aldrin walked on the moon, and Kennedy Space Centre in Florida is celebrating with a great new exhibition.
Visitors can see their 363ft rocket Apollo 11, space suits, shoes, helmets and gloves and even the tools used to excavate the lunar surface.
On July 16th, Buzz Aldrin will join other astronauts at the exhibition opening before signing copies of his new book Magnificent Desolation: The Long Journey Home from the Moon. He'll be there between 3 and 4pm. There are plenty of other events throughout the summer. New to Kennedy Space Centre Visitor Complex this year is the ATX Core, a half day Astronaut Training Experience, which includes hands on space exploration activities and a mission simulation.

ATX Core tickets are costing around £81 (minimum age 14)

Will this new exhibition be permanent?
