Does POFQ have movies in the evening? They didn't the last time we were there but were looking for those little extras we could do with the kids after a day in the parks :)

Was it every night or on a timetable?

Wonderful! Is there anything else there you'd suggest?

Boo you can't read it but it says for May that its every night. Caitlin and I really enjoyed hanging at the pool, sitting by the fountains. Other than that we were out at the parks really. Love POFQ

The best movie to see there would be the princess and the frog I think!

How do they actually do the movies? Is it projected onto something outside?

They do it on one of the grass squares between the buildings, it looks like an inflatable screen and projector, quite big like a regular movie screen. There are no seats, maybe a park bench, saw a lot of kids lying on towels in their pyjamas watching the movie when we were there. I'm thinking you'd need bug spray on in August though

Not sure if you jog, but there are great walkways around the resort. We loved to take brisk walks up to the other section of the resort. The boat is cool to take you to DTD. We also had a really nice meal at OKW at Olivia's by taking a boat to DTD, then another one to OKW.

The boat rides are really nice as long as you're not in a rush

That is true, but you couldn't ask for a more relaxed method of transportation. BTW, that is my dream job (operating one of those boats) when I grow up...aka retire.

i think you'd be perfect for it! Most of the boat captains are retirees on that route and they're all so friendly, to have one that loves and knows Disney too is a bonus. If you have the right person it could be seen as a ride

Thank you...you are right, it could be more than just transportation. I mean to me it always was. I loved chatting it up with those guys. (oh there was one woman as well). They were so friendly and such a hoot to listen too. You could tell they liked working together. I have told DW Sally that I could do that and she could be involved in the resorts as desk help. She would be great at that.
