so I was pricing up small cars for 2 of us and i scrolled down a little bit and found that a mustang or similar is only £100 more... so what would the or similar be if they didn't have one? anyone got any ideas?

Very often the Sebring in my experience

The only way to be SURE is to book with a guaranteed mustang car place. As you can imagine, pretty much everyone who books mustang class and then doesnt get one complains but :/

It's fine as a car, but I don't think it has the cool factor of a mustang.. not for me personally anyway

I must admit I've not looked for a couple of years but there used to be two ways, I'm pretty sure dollar or alamo did a guaranteed mustang option which was a lot more than the normal class which should really be "convertible" rather than "mustang" which I think is misleading.

There were also specialist places which offered them

    I'd have to google....

Last year a guy from work ignored me on this and went to mco and was offered a sebring. He phoned me about the most upset I'd ever heard even though I'd explained all this to him and whilst we were on the phone and he was telling me how it was going to ruin his whole holiday (why tell me!) the lady from dollar came over and in the background I could hear her say that if he came back the next day, they'd found him a mustang. So I guess it *CAN* work out sometimes.

I was then treated to 14 days of holiday photos with him, his wife, or both, posing across the hood of the mustang ;( not anything I really wanted to see

A Sebring is DEFINITELY not a stand in for a Mustang. It's an "old man's car." I got stuck with one as a rental one time, and hated it. Miserably uncomfortable for some weird reason.

Having said that, I'm not a Ford fan, so a Mustang isn't much I'd be interested in. Comparable? Chevy Camaro (much rather have that than a Ford ;) ) or the Spider.

Chrysler no longer makes the Sebring. The 200 replaced it. Definitely NOT a replacement for the Mustang.

There's a flood of Chrysler 200s and the odd Chevrolet Camaros whenever I go to MCO.

Dodge Challenger!!! I think there are fleets as well of this car. Very cool and looks like a dead ringer for the 1970 version. Maybe get the Hemi version! Lots of muscle.
