New archery experience at Fort Wilderness

    Pick up your bow/arrow and aim for the centre spot in the all new Archery Experience at Disney's fort wilderness

    START DATE: JULY 3, 2008

    Following instructions in the use of a Compound Bow, you'll take aim at the Bullsye in the Range target.

    WHERE: Ft. Wilderness

    WHEN: Thursday, Friday, Saturday

    TIME: 2:45 - 4:15

    AGE: 6 and up

    PRICE: $25 plus tax

    The Archery Experience can be booked by calling 407-WDW-PLAY. Upon arrival you check in at the Ft. Wilderness Bike Barn.

    Oooh that sounds cool. Done a bit of archery at uni and it's a lot of fun.

    Yes, my Da was into archery. Had a set up in the lower garden. Loved it.

    Reasonable cost too. Might be something worth looking into, eh Dawn?

    Not sure yet! I bet they'd tell you on the booking line though.

    As far as I know, it's not yet "officially, properly opened" and is still in soft opening mode for another few days.

    I suspect there'll be more announcements this/next week

    We did it in January....it was brilliant fun :yes:
    I am very happy to announce I won too. There were 7 men and me.....and I won the Star Wars Monopoly game :lol:

    DH said he really enjoyed it to ..... apart from me beating his butt!

    I won a Star Wars Monopoly game. We weren't told there was a prize....you do it just for fun.

    Our session lasted about 90 minutes..
    I would definately do it again.

    It was quite hard to find....even the bus driver was unsure of where to drop us off. It's situated near the bike sheds at Ft Wilderness.
