News New Disney Cruise Line Infant Age Limit Policy

    With immediate effect, all new reservations for sailings commencing the 1st January 2013, the minimum age for infants to sail aboard the Disney Cruise Line ships will increase from 12 weeks to 6 months of age on most itineraries.

    The minimum age for Transatlantic, Hawai'i and Panama Canal itineraries will increase to 1 year of age.

    This change is consistent with the age restrictions of others in the cruise industry.

    Guests with existing reservations to sail in 2015 with a child between the ages of 12 weeks and 1 year will be allowed to sail on their existing reservations. All new bookings for 2015 sailings must comply with the new age limits.

    Wow. I wonder why? Consistent with others, but Disney has never been "like the others."
