Looks like Amazon is debuting new Kindles, Kindle Fires and the regular type of Kindles, but with a white print face.

I love my regular Kindle. Just downloaded 4 new books today. :newspaper:

I have the Kindle Fire. I love it. When I use it. I am still hopelessly addicted to real books :-(

The traditional kindles only allow you to read books, the Kindle fires allow for much more (ie internet, movies, etc).

How would a fire compare to something like an iPad?

I much prefer the ipad or even the google nexus 7 to be honest in terms of a tablet device

The best release I Think was the paperwhite kindle with built in light! FINALLY! it's needed a good light for so long

(not in the UK of course)

I think the Kindle Fire is more cost effective. No doubt the iPad is better in all respects

The lowest storage capacity (16gb??) of the Nexus is £199 Keith, the Kindle Fire is going to be £129, I *think*.

Except the 8gb nexus 7 is 159 apparently sooooo that's getting awfully close to fire pricing
