New "Waltz in the Park" animation cell to be released at Disney's Hollywood Studios

    The talented team of Ink & Paint artists at Disney’s Hollywood Studios are planning on releasing a new ink and paint cel for sale to guests in March

    The newest limited edition 1,000 piece titled Waltz in the Park is set to release on the 16th March at Studios Animation Gallery and features the hand-painted Mickey Mouse and Minnie Mouse dressed in the iconic costumes of Belle and the Beast as they prepare to enter Beast’s Castle.

    Waltz in the Park will be available in the following formats, including framing options and retails:

    Unframed Cel – $150
    Black Frame and Cel – $240
    Black Frame with Pin and Cel – $270
    Black Frame with Pin, Postcard and Cel – $280
    Gold Frame and Cel – $310

    There will also be a pin that accompanies a couple of these formats.

    If you are lucky enough to be at Hollywood Studios on the 16th March, several of the Ink & Paint artists associated with this piece will be availale at a special appearance and signing from 10am – 1pm and 2pm – 5pm at Studios Animation Gallery in Hollywood Studios.

    Walt Disney Event Services is currently taking pre-orders for the Waltz in the Park cel. You can contact them at 407-827-7600, Monday – Friday from 9am to 5pm. All orders must be placed no later than Friday, March 15, 2013, at 12pm EST. For more information, visit www.ArtofDisneyParks.com.

    I really love that! We have one cel of Simba in a black frame that we bought here in 1995 and that cost £250 so those prices don't seem that bad! Wonder if they will still have it in August. :unsure:
