I love Christchurch, we are down that way a lot! Enjoy! x
...and now the views. Glorious, breathtakingly beautiful views. My pictures don't do them justice.
Came home last night Lisa! I adore Christchurch, especially when the sun's shining!
Oh well that's a shame that you are not still there! Agree though the weather makes all the difference, bet it was busy down by the water!
Well on Sunday we went to use the spa at the Christchurch Harbour Hotel so didn't mix with crowds! Walked along the river yesterday, past the priory, past the church and along the quay to Captains Club for a drink and it wasn't too busy at all.
What a beautiful place! And that room is awesome! Cheese heaven indeed, so yummy! Please tell me you had that twice.
Again, very pretty place! Thank you so much for sharing.
I knew you couldn't possibly have meant you were flying to New Zealand for the weekend so I jumped on Google Maps and found this place.
Oh FD, I can't even describe how that tasted....believe me I could've managed another! Christchurch is around 11/2 to 2 hours driving from my house, I really should go more often. Though there was so much traffic heading that way on Sunday the journey took almost twice as long, and it was very, very hot...hence all the traffic heading to the beautiful coastline! I live close to the sea, around 10 minutes walk, but it's just not as beautiful.
Hahaha I wish I could John!
But oh so worth it once you got there! Next time leave at 230am and avoid all the traffic.
Hahaha, it'd be a cooler journey too! It looks like I said it takes 11 hours to get there....I'd certainly be staying more than one night if it did!
I love the photos, thank you for sharing
It looks lovely, we often go to Poole and Bournemouth.
Oh goodness, I'm not sure which looks more lovely - the bed or the souffle!
Beautiful photos, Mairead. The soufflé looks delicious! I sure hope it was. The crab look like Dungeness that are available here (mostly on the west coast, but they ship them in to other areas of the US).
Thanks for sharing the holiday with us! (You take the best holidays)!!
Guess where I'm going this weekend! Mairead, your photos have inspired me.
