You are a man of habit Keith and I don't mean a monk before Terry says something
Keith, I've got something I need you to do, it's really important
Can you please go to Hollywood Studios and have one these for me:
I then need a full detailed report on what it tasted like
Well JUST for you DDDD
i am drooling!
now my heart is aching!
California grill great table
That is so cool!!
It would have to be. Otherwise it would melt.
Tom macwave:... with apologies to Sir Slowhand.)
Lovely meal at the california grill last night. I know the place can be a little inconsistent and is almost certainly overpriced but sitting there next to the window, looking out at the fireworks over the castle, champagne in hand, it was hard to fault the experience.
Food wise, i had the usual filet of beef with bbq sauce lovely as ever and perhaps a larger portion than I've been accustomed to from there. DW had the lamb and there was definitely a lot of that but although nice, it wasn't as nice as the lamb at say charleys or ruths chris (and was more expensive).
All in all a lovely evening
Today is star wars day at Hollywood Studios and then later we're not sure. We have bistro de paris booked at EPCOT in time for the fireworks so that's tempting...
Awww! Nice to know the Cali Grill was good last night. I've heard they've taken the lamb off the menu at Jiko!
Bistro... I hope it's good too. Lovely day up here. Hope it's the same there.
Lovely here so far, hope it lasts!
I don't know about the Bistro, the last experience was nothing special at all but so many people rate it highly I feel I should give it another try! plus, not seen my favourite EPCOT illuminations yet this trip
Sadly we won`t be able to go to the Bistro when we come over as they tell me that it will be closed for refurbishment.
So, did you manage to get a Charger Keith?
Nope they didn't seem to have any this time, grabbed an impala instead as we know they're ok. tbh it's fine, just not as good looking as the charger IMHO
Any recommendations for the Bistro??
TBH Keith, I really can`t remember what I ordered the last time we were there.
Suffice to say the I [being a carnivore], and my DW [only eating fish or chicken], have never been disappointed with the menu on offer.
It would be good if you could blag a window seat for the fireworks. The view is not really spectacular, although we have been there on occasions when they have allowed folks out to view Illuminations and then return to finish their meal after the fireworks had finished which was a nice touch.
