I have both of those you know
not sure if I mentioned it
I wish the phrase "size isn't everything" applied here, but I can't find it within my heart to say that
Josh mate, your time will come and we will be pining over your 42 inch iThrustEagleHammerhead with quantum core and a flibblebyte liquid crystal hard drive taht sucks thoughts directly from your brain , whilst at the same time Keith and I will be trading tips on how to tape our ancient 27 inch machines together with gaffa tape
whilst rocking backwards and forwards and dribbling! LOL
Josh do you know how much the student discount was?
There are several different kinds of educational discount such as one for schools, one for colleges and then universities. You can find the lowest couple of discounts by going into the educational store online (dont know if this link will work Student Discount - Apple Store (U.K.) )
If you can wangle yourself someone with a university card then you can find a much higher level discount by asking at an apple store or phoning up.
It can be of the order of 15% or thereabouts
thanks Keith, i can cover all of those eventualities! lol
Can you believe there is a thread running on another Disney board where a chap bought a Macbook and he hates it! He's had such a rant. Believes it's the biggest waste of money he's ever spent and is sending it back for a full refund. It appears it may be faulty and that is why it's not doing what it should be doing but he refuses to consider getting another. Happily there have been plenty of pro Mac replies!
see that's what you get for going elsewhere
Obviously in need of some serious counseling!
Do you think we should forward the official Disney Secrets get well card?
Tom macwave:... what's not to love?)
It takes some getting used to, the boy has spent all of today playing with the face recognition software in iPhoto and making movies in iMovie
He's just come running in saying
OMG have you SEEN TIME MACHINE!!!!
Why yes... yes I have.
Tom macwave:... who needs a bigger external drive!)
Separate names with a comma.
