There is a private lounge its the Delta Sky Lounge, but you can't book it, as far as I know it is for Upper Class and Business Class passengers only, or if you are an AMEX plat card holder things like that. You aren't missing much to be honest, it's not as good as others. It's probably one of the worst I've been in.

If you want somewhere nice to go then go out to the restaurant in the Hyatt, it called McCoys, their site is here We always eat here and once you've finished you can sit in the comfy chairs in the hotel reception and then just wander down to departures when they are about to be called.

There is also another restaurant called Hemisphere Steak & Seafood Restaurant but we haven't been there and it's a tad expensive.

we went to Duty Free in May so yeah :)

See I actually LIKE the lounge in MCO :/ there's no good food to talk of or anything like that so that's not good I admit, but I found it nice, clean, quiet and relaxing. I would actually pay to sit in there

I suppose it is relaxing if you sit in the right area, but just you wait until you are in there and a South American flight has been delayed and the children are bored and running round :hide:

Nothing against children at all, but I do think there should be a separate lounge for families, a lot of the people in these lounges are business people who are trying to work or relax.

It had been completed when we went in April this year, much better than when it was undergoing refurb

I feel the same way as Keith about the Delta Lounge and [touch wood] I have never seen any unruly children there.
We have been fortunate to fly UC on our last few trips [courtesy of our FC Miles], and on some occasions a VA rep has come to the lounge and escorted us to the boarding gate when the flight is ready for boarding.....not that we really needed this facility, but a nice touch nevertheless.
