    No, I'd not seen that one. :sigh;

    I did see an interview with a very irate British woman. She was trying to get home after her first visit to the US. She said she was never coming here again. :( I felt really bad for some silly reason.

    I saw this yesterday! There were loads of people who arrived there not knowing anything about the problems. Apparently sanfords view was "nothing to do with us you dont have any flights so you need to leave"

    American tv was doing an interview with a woman from sanford airport and she was smiling saying we're doing everything we can etc. and a load of uk tourists stepped in front of the camera saying she's not ! shes only being nice now because the cameras are here.

    Turns out that because they wouldnt leave until someone gave them more information, they were threatened with being arrested

    Doesnt seem well handled

    Ugh. That isn't well handled. Good for those tourists to set the record straight!

    Sanford is a small airport as you know, and probably wasn't equipped to handle such an emergency (PR wise, I mean). No excuse, just thinking aloud.

    good to know, thanks Malcolm

    Any idea how people are doing over there? they were saying 90,000 people across the world stranded which is a heck of a lot of plane space but I guess not all on the same day

    I've seen some interviews with British tourists. Most were outdoors.

    pretty bad if the passengers are behaving themselves, if not i dont blame them for saying it, all to often some brits abroad leave a lot to be desired the way they behave

    youd still think theyd understand that people will need information about where to go though. sanford was on tv a few weeks ago saying theyre trying to be a major airport and beat orlando international, they wont get there treating people like that
