    ...pixie dust.

Today marks the opening of early registration for the Wine & Dine Half Marathon. It's open to DVC members and Annual Passholders. As fate would have it, I am currently an Annual Passholder! So, at noon today, I (along with thousands of my new best friends) will be logging in to try and secure an early spot for the race.

To say I'm nervous would be an understatement.

What if I don't get in?

    OMG, what if DO???

Amazing! Get it done sister! (Clicks fingers in the air).

On second thoughts, don't let me ever do that again. Doesn't suit me.

    But yay!! Congrats!

Thanks, everyone :D I'm beyond excited. Tuesday was general registration and Jon's brother-in-law was (one of the lucky few) fortunate enough to get in as well! The race SOLD OUT in less than 36 minutes! The Jingle Jungle 5K (held at the same time) sold out in 32 minutes! runDisney has developed a HUGE audience and the demand just keeps growing.

I've officially switched over to the Jeff Galloway program (thanks for the advice, Jules) and am loving it. Today was supposed to be a rest day, but as it was the first day of Spring and we are expecting 5 more inches of snow this afternoon, I decided it was now or possibly never and bundled up to hit the boardwalk for a short run. I was rewarded by my FIRST sub-14 minute mile. 13:25 to be exact!!! For someone who started out running a consistent 17 minute mile - this was huge! Raise your hand if you're thinking to yourself, "I bet she cried - she always cries." DING DING DING, you are correct! Hot mess express right there on the boardwalk! I celebrated my achievement with a little beach art :) Feeling pretty amazing right now. As Walt once said, "It's kind of fun to do the impossible." :D
