nice new forums by the way very easy to use

I'm trying to decide between photopass and the new photopass+ but hard to see the difference at the moment. Has anyone tried either and how well did it work out?

Are there major costs after you come home to get printouts and things?

We went for photo pass plus this year and are pleased we did! We were there for 3 weeks and it was really worth it for us. We could add photos from meals but the best thing was adding ride photos to it!

You can edit them and get them on CD exactly the same as normal photo pass.

ooo fascinating! So you really thought it was good?

How many photos did you end up with?

Did you get any free prints from dinner shows?

I guess when you finish a ride, you have to wait at the end by the counter and they'll try and find your photo or something to add to the card?

You get a little card with the photopass plus that tells you what rides are included. For example, Buzz Lightyear in the MK, when you exit the ride make a note of the last 3 digits of your photo/s and give your card to the cashier and they scan it on for you. For dining, we had to give our photopass to the photographer and then have our picture taken and we got the prints at our table with no charge. Again the restaurants are listed on the little card.

Did you do the plus version as well Dawn?

ok so you have to find your photo on that set of screens in buzz so you can get the number to tell them?

Good to know you got the prints at the dining places!

So other than the prints, you get a CD sent to you at the end or can you download them all?

I did the plus too. Very civilised. All the rides you just find your photo and tell the cashier the number. And the prints all came in the official frames in the restaurants.

Yep you get a CD or a download. And you can add extra cards to it - we got a couple at waterparks and a special card from Steven' Jedi Training Academy - you can add them all to the Plus account.

    Dawn answered it all ;)

Space Mountain had someone standing near the photos and writing down the numbers since the place to claim the photos was quite a long way away.

We did get the free photo prints too, but I was less than impressed with them. We had them at 1900, Tusker House, Akershus, Chef Mickey and somewhere else I can't remember  I was less than impressed with them to be honest. They just did one point and click and made no effort to make sure everyone was smiling. However, people who did not have a photo pass had a lot more time spent with them, and had loads of photos taken. I thought it was a one off to begin with, but none of the restaurant pics we got were any good  a couple of places did take more than one pic, but the one that was printed was never any good.

I would get it again though, having a 2 year old means she doesn't always smile, or needs a bit of a fuss making. I'm sure she'd be better next time. It was well worth it for the ride photos though.
