The only one we did was the mini one you get when you are hooked into CRT. Would love to hear about others though

We've not tried but I believe there are a few options now.. there's photopass portrait where you get to choose a resort and they spend 30mins I think ? or perhaps more. I'm sure Johnie did one of these?

There are also a couple of options from disney event photographic the ones who do the wedding shots and so on. I think they do a mini shoot for about $175 or a full hour with lighting and assistant for $350 and it can be in almost any resort or EPCOT

My parents used the disney guys for their wedding photo's.

At the time some of their techniques were a little unorthodox and we were left thinking huh? lol but when they arrived at my parents room (on the same day) we were really happy with them and they looked completely natural too. They did such a good job.

There is one that they did of me where he asks me to hold the flowers and I think he's going to take the photo of my parents and as I am holding these flowers he turns and snaps me.

    I was shocked! ha.

But it is one of my better photo's!

Ive said it before, but as an enthusiastic photographer myself I really rate the Disney photographers, both photopass and the event guys, very highly indeed. I know not everyone agrees but I've seen brilliant results from them. Not only do they know their stuff but it's obvious they know Disney and have put in the time to get everything just right for the surroundings.

I remember going to the wedding pavilion and sneaking in to look around. They have the alter in front of a beautiful glass window through which, across the lake, is the magic kingdom castle. So the "money shot" is someone standing by the alter and the castle in the background but ARGH dark inside, then the window, then reflections off the lake, then some haze, and across the distance to the castle.

I spent ages playing around trying to get that sorted and I didn't notice one of the Disney guys creeping up getting ready for a wedding. I said oops sorry and offered to leave but before I did, he picked up his camera (no better than mine) fired a few and showed me his technique. Absolutely perfect which of course he'd NEED to be! he cant spent an hour saying ok just another try  but it wasn't just local knowledge, he was interested in showing me and talking about the various great shots around the area.

We once found a photographer in the lobby at AKL and she spent a good 1/2 hour with us as there was nobody else there. We had some of the best photos ever with her and it didn't cost a penny :)

that's true enough! I think photopass photographers are in a few of the resort lobbies pretty much every day now. AKL, WL, GF etc.

I remember we had some in front of the christmas tree at AKL which were great

We did the portrait session at the GF and grounds to celebrate our 25th anniversary. The photographer was great and made us feel comfortable. Example.....

Thanks Vikki. It was a 30 minute session but we had around 45 minutes as they took into account walking time from indoors/outdoor locations. Just checked and we had a total of 62 photos on a disc.

I think it was around $45 for a photo package with a choice of photos printed out at various sizes but we paid extra for the CD (sorry I can't remember the price)

I think it's a brilliant idea for everyone really. How often do we go on holiday and one or other person is always behind the camera. Nice to get a set of photos with everyone in them

I know Johnie did this for Alysia and a friend. I remember the pictures were amazing, but that girl is beautiful, so I'm sure she doesn't take a bad one  Hopefully she comes along soon and can give some info!

I remember that, they were beautiful photos

You can find out more information or book a portrait session by calling 407-934-4004. I'll give them a call tomorrow and find out some more about it.

You can have your portrait session done at these resorts:

    Grand Floridian
    Polynesian
    Beach Club
    Wilderness Lodge
    Animal Kingdom Lodge

You can choose from Professional Print packages or get all of your session images on the Professional Portrait CD

The other place if you want to spend lots of money is Disney Event Photography
