I *love* sushi and was hoping to get some while in Epcot. We purchased the dinner plan and with all my other reservations (I traded two sit-downs for a dinner show) I only have one quick service to use at Epcot. I was wondering if there is a quick service restaurant in Japan to get sushi? <keeping my fingers crossed>

Yakitori does have a califorina roll and a spicy tuna. The spicy tuna ain't bad. I've had it. And the salad w/ginger dressing. Refreshing.

Although, I have to wonder why you would want to choose sushi over the other restaurants? Maybe I'm spoiled with a lot of sushi joints in my town, and the Publix grocery stores in my area also have good made-to-order sushi in the seafood section.

I'd pick sushi over any other food. Always :) And we already have dinner reservations booked that evening. I was just hoping I could use my quick service punches for sushi. . .and I can. So I couldn't be happier.

Right on! They even give you chopsticks and there is soy sauce, ginger and wasabi in the tray so you don't have to ask for it. Where do you have dinner rez?

We are having dinner that evening at the Polynesian resort for the Spirit of Aloha dinner show.

Josh, you'll find a decent selection of "do-able" sushi at Publix. They make it fresh daily, and if the sushi maker is there, s/he'll make whatever you as for (if they have the ingredients). I was surprised at how good it is.

Steven can recommend the sushi made at Publix. We often stopped for a tray on the way back to our villa in the evening. And he's a sushi expert. :D
