I seem to read a lot of people spending time at Raglan Road? I think I've had fish and chips there on occasion but never been in the evening. Is there a lot going on there?

There are almost always a band and Irish Dancers. Haven't had a bad meal there yet and on Sundays you can even get a full Irish Breakfast.

We've been there for dinner. Thought it was pretty good. Get there early if you want a seat in the bar close enough to see anything. While the dancers are up on platforms, it can be a long way across the place to be able to see them.

I'm not overly impressed with it. Had a rubbish meal there last time and the server was even more rubbish. Not bothered about going back this time

Sorry to hear that I have had about 5 meals there and have had no complaints but if I had your experience I would not go back either

I've been three times now and I have enjoyed it every time! It can get quite busy and loud the later you go.

    Keith,
I wasn't overly impressed with the entrees the first couple of times we went. BUT, I did love the scallop forks on the appetizer menu and the bread and butter pudding on the dessert menu. We would go just for those! Then I found the ham.......Oh. my. word.

[IMG] make dancer. Moves too fast to take a good picture!

[IMG] bread and butter pudding. Huge and ridiculously good

[IMG] ham. Three huge pieces. It's the only entree I'll get now

[IMG] you see the scallop forks behind the Guinness

It's brilliant there! Once we went and were seated in the side room, it taught us to always ask for a table near the dancers! Ben even went on stage with them last summer.
Our meals have always been delicious.

I'm sure it is! I'm not a huge chocolate lover, I usually only want a bite or two. Well, actually, that can be said about all desserts lol

Is this one like that? I enjoy that too. I really like the grapefruit cake at Brown Derby due to this.
