Both DH and I have an AP. If we renew them, do we get a discount? If so, how much?
I can see that the AP's at the moment are $469.

As far as I know Diane, the only discounts for AP`s are given to DVC members.

I asked this too and as slowhand says, the only usable discount is DVC or florida resident.

Since most of the benefits like discounts on rooms, dining etc. can be used if you only have one card anyway, we just got a standard ticket and one AP. Of course then we've booked another three times so with four trips it would have been better to get two APs :( sigh!

It's just not quite as straight forward a decision as it was when the exchange rate was 2!

i thought they used to give a discount for renewing  rather than you waiting for the next trip and taking out a new one- seem to remember it was either around 10% or the cost of the tax - although i think that may be military discounted tickets.

ahhhhh sorry sure I see what you mean, yep it's slightly cheaper to renew than to wait till they expire and buy again

Britchick knew what I was talking about
So, if I renew without missing a day....ours finish on 21/12....so if I renew to start 22/12, I'd get a discount?

well it's better than a poke in the eye I'll admit  but I always feel like there should be some sort of larger loyalty discount for those who renew year after year

I thought it was about a $60 discount? I never renew the AP. It starts the day it expires and we generally are ending a trip at that point. I don't want to waste a few months with a renewal.
