Um. Well. I think the thread title says it all
like it is the rest of the year in the UK, cold, damp, grey
I could work for the tourist board couldnt I
Are you just saying that because you're afraid I'm gonna look you up when I get there?
no hon I promise
March is an ok time, dec/jan/feb cold, march... crisp with sunshine I'd say
I can do crisp...
And the UK is a big place...you'll have plenty of places to hide...
Not really big but it does have lots of knooks and crannys...
March can be warmish, coldish and rainy. But we do have freak weather fronts sometimes. Are you coming don't even think you aint not meeting me.
so cool that your coming - sometimes nice but probably cold and wet - its not a green and pleasant land because the sun shines here
it can be a mixed bag as the others have said the uk weather is so unpredicatable
the forecast all year is - sunshine and showers
It's like the others say, cold, damp, sunny, windy and if you are really unlucky it might even snow
It also depends on where you go, it tends to be colder the further up North you go. London is usually cold. Devon and Cornwall are normally warmer but they are also wetter. Wales and Scotland will usually be colder.
March is certainly not the time I would choose to go to the UK but I'm sure you have your reasons Becca.
LOL, uscwest...I do. It's called two weeks off with pay I take 'em when I get 'em ya know?
It's not a dead certain just yet...Jon and I are just bouncing ideas around. We've found a decent deal on airfare...and well, lucky for us, the exchange rate isn't what it used to be (sorry, doc)...
Oddly, it boils down to...wedding or Britain
So then...if you wouldn't choose March, when *would* you say the best time to visit is?
May *can* be warm and sunny sometimes, as can June and July but I wouldn't guarantee good weather in August.
Actually I woudn't guarantee any month!
We had rain and wind and grey skies a while ago - now the sun's shining.
I'd vote for wedding but time it right so that we can come as well
You can't take anything for granted with our weather the end of May can be good (but the last week is school half term so the prices are up), June and early July are quite nice. End of July and August are school holidays so again it will be silly prices :rolleyes008:
We can nice Septembers as well - sometimes
I think pick a time to visit, expect grey and wet and hopefully you may be pleasantly surprised
Oh and don't pick Wimbledon fortnight as it almost always rains then
We aren't very positive about our Country's wonderful weather are we
why do I feel like I am never going to see you married?
