At both Disney California Adventure and neighboring Disneyland park, six attractions will be closed throughout the month of October for routine maintenance and holiday decorating.

Pirates of the Caribbean at Disneyland has been closed since September, and will remain so until November 23. The Blue Bayou restaurant adjacent to the attraction will be closed during the maintenance period as well. Also at Disneyland, “It’s a Small World” will close October 24 in order to prepare the ride for holiday decorations. The ride is scheduled to reopen November 10.

Three additional attractions will close at Disney California Adventure, including California Screamin’. According to Disney spokesman Kevin Rafferty Jr., the ride will remain closed until October 14. So far, the entire track for the loop has been replaced, and the rest of the track was re-painted. The attraction will reopen on October 15.

Additionally, the Redwood Creek Challenge Trail will be undergoing routine maintenance but is expected to reopen October 28, while the 4D show “It’s tough to be a bug!” will be closed October 24 through November 11 for maintenance as well.
