This was LeLe on loan from China to the Memphis Zoo...he was soooooo sweet! While we were watching, one of the handlers came out to feed him some more bamboo and chatted with us for quite some time. Jon's sister inquired as to where the female was and she said they had her in a separate area as they suspect she may be pregnant. I say "suspect" because apparently pandas go through a pseudo-pregnancy even when they aren't pregnant...luckily, the gestation period for panda's is only four months, so they should know soon!!

I have a few more photos to post later, he was INCREDIBLY active on this day and seem to be enjoying all the attention he was getting!
