Do you get dragged on stage at the Spirit of Aloha?
I love audience participation as long as it doesn't involve me

Dont worry they dont drag you on stage. They ask if anyone is celebrating something special such as anniversaries, honeymoon, birthdays etc. You can participate but they dont force you.

A fun part of the show is when they ask people to go up on stage and learn hawaiian dancing. The children really enjoy this and they run up to participate.

It is a good and entertaining show. :smiley4:

Yes there are tables for two. We have been on a table for two at the front, middle and near the back. You can see the show from wherever you are sitting.

The show is good and the poly is a lovely hotel. :smiley5:

Do you mind my asking how much it is now to attend the Luau? It's been so long since I've checked I don't really know anymore. :sorry:

We have booked for January 1st. Thanks for putting my mind at rest about the audience participation Keith.

Thanks.....I'm sure I'm going to love it. The guy I spoke to on the phone said there were no characters here which I thought there was but, I will still enjoy!

For category one seating, it was $123.98 including tax for two adults.

It does indeed although pinning your server down to ask for more can be problematic

Is it really worth seeing, I've always shied away from it because we've saw one in Hawaii and I'm worried I'll compare the two.

    hmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmm

I think Disney have worked hard to avoid the comparison by Disney'ing it up a bit :) the seaworld luau was more authentic than the disney one IMHO.

Worth seeing... well it's not an absolutely must do every trip, but its a fun way to spend a relaxing evening
