They are both a lot of fun, but if it is chilly I tend to skip Splash.

    It's that permanently damp/wet smell.

Well, it does have a scent, that's true. I always thought it was a bit like a public swimming pool. Kind of like a whiff of chlorine.

Hands down (or UP!!!) it's gotta be Splash Mountain for me :D

And yeah, I'm weird...that smell is one of those things that says "DISNEY!" to me ;)

(JUST don't scream with your mouth wide open when you make the drop if you're in the first seat...that water tastes NAAAAAASTY!)

Big Thunder Mountain Railroad for me, every time.

Splash Mountain is OK, but I've not been for at least the past three trips... It's like It's a Small World with a drop at the end. Zzzz

Very hard one, I love both so much as they're important to that side of the park.

For me I think i'd go for Splash because (as much as I like big thunder) it is a normal mine train type ride that can be seen in most theme parks. Splash is a little different and is a nice way to get out of the heat during the day.

Nooooo! I just love all the build up to the splash, 'laughing place' song makes me sing along and everything else that goes on. I come off that ride with a big smile on my face, slightly damp but very happy :)
